Stamping Glitz

Where from you say?? I’m back from the Tartan Stampers Mini Convention.  It was 3 fun filled days of crafting, chatting and eating cakes with lots of the other Stampin’ Up! demo’s in Scotland and some from further afield.  We all did shoe box swaps for each other (where we make a card/3D item and then give everyone a kit to make their own) and some amazing classes too.

So I have load of pics to show you of what I made there but before I do, guess what we are doing at this weeks class?  We are looking at  Embossing techniques, from getting that perfect embossed image to resist embossing and faux metal from embossing.  The class is on Saturday 28th April from 10-12 at the Pollockshaws Burgh Hall, Glasgow and is £10 with all materials included.  You can book a space by visiting the Glasgow Cardmaking Meetup or contact me at or on 07535666211.  To avoid placing being taking by those who do not turn up payment must be made in advance unless other wise agreed.

Ok so here’s the pics if you put the mouse curser over thhe pics you should see everyone’s names, there are a few more but that all my laptop can take right now…

I have some fabulous Stampin’ Up! Idea books for sale at 1/3 off the usual price and with free postage. You can have your very own idea book and catalogue to give you inspiration and see all our amazing product too for only £4 (normal price £5.95 plus p&p). You will even get a voucher for free p&p off your next order of £25 or more. Just email me at or call 07535666211.

Or why not pick one up at my next class for a special class attendee price if £3! The next class is on 28 April 2012, details of what we will be doing will go up soon…

A very belated Happy New Year! Yes it has been WAY too long since my last post, so lets get you all up to speed on the last 2 months.

Firstly I went to the Stampin’ Up! european convention in …Disneyland Paris, it was an amazing time with friend and crafting and its only one of the many perks of being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator especially as at convention you get free stamp sets!! (what more could a stamper ask for) Heres us girls heading into the awards dinner all dressed to the nines!

So after convention came Christmas and with 14 (yes 14) people over to our small one bedroom flat for dinner it was manic to say the least with all the organising I took a break as I had no time and sad to say it taken me till now to get over the January blues and actually get organised and write something!

The exciting news… we sold our flat and bought a new house (hopefully) so the next fee weeks are going to be crazy but should all be worth it in the end, so I promise to keep you posted and if anyone wants to help me pack feel free!

So enough about me whats happening in Stampin’ Up!, well LOADS!!! firstly we have a brand new mini catalogue packed with AMAZING products just take a look at some of the things I made at a recent demonstrator training event with them. Here is the same design however with each card we have added in some other products to jazz it up, but why not take a look for yourself at whats new and take a look in the new mini and while you are there why not take a look at the fabulous and exclusive products you can get for FREE with Sale-A-Bration. Yes from 24th January until 31st March 2012 you can get you hand on all of these products absolutely free and there are a few ways to do that

2. Host a workshop and if your workshop reaches £300 you will get a free product as well as all the usual hostess benefits, plus your customers will all get free products too when they spend £45 so everybody wins.

3. Join the Stampin’ Up! family and in addition to all the other benefits and you will also get to choose a stamp set of your choice, if you have a big wish list then this is the best time to sign up, get the best crafters starter kit and discount on everything else you order for as long as you want.

Well today I wanted to share a simple wee stocking filler that I am planning to pop in with some prezzies this year. It’s a wee bookmark that slips over the corner of your page. I got the idea from my friend Lorraine Harrison (stampdelicious) who made these as door gifts for an event we did and few months back. They are a great way to use up odd bits of card and ribbon, so get out your scrap boxes!

Seen as you are all so shy if you would like a copy of the instructions for this project you can send me a wee e-mail and I will send them off to you.
