Well it has been a very long time, honestly I had no idea how long until I started to update the blog today.  I think you can all be forgiven for thinking that I was never coming back!  Well I am and better than ever (that’s the new Stampin Up! catty that’s better than ever, not me).  The new catalogue is absolutely packed with new stamps, ribbons, buttons, papers, card and ink colours and our biggest ever big shot range.  And whats even better is it’s the same as the american catalogue so no more pining over products we can’t have…because now we can!!!

If you want to see for yourself why not look at the “About Stampin’ Up!” page to see not only the new main catalogue but the new Autumn/Winter catalogue too packed with even more gorgeous Christmas products.

But that’s not all the good news I have for you, the classes are back too with a stamp-a-stack on 17th November and a luxury Christmas class on 8th December.  All the  details are on the “Events and Classes” page and remember there are limited spaces so make sure you don’t miss out.  The last stamp-a-stake was a huge success, why not see the reviews for yourself here.

And as if that wasn’t enough, just a quick reminder to you all that the SECC craft fair is this weekend (25/10/12 – 28/10/12), I can’t make all 4 days this year but why not pop along and see me on Saturday where I will have free make and take classes running throughout the day.  And if you place an order with me on Saturday you will only pay £1 p&p plus get a voucher for £5 off your next £25 order placed with me.

There is so much amazing stuff happening in May!

Firstly we have our new Mini Catalogue with such fab products such as the Simply Scored Scoring Tool and the new diagonal Plate to go with it.  This tool itself is great making creating 3d items such as boxes and fancy fold cards effortless.  And if that wasn’t enough the diagonal plate means you can make your own envelopes in a jiffy (get it, envelopes – jiffy bags?).  I personally love to make little 3×3 note cards but getting envelopes is such a pain, now i just make my own!

There are loads of other lovely products in the mini, so why not have a look for yourself here.

So Next thing to tell you about is the new starter kit and this really is AMAZING!  Ok so firstly the new kit is now only £99 and you will get £130 worth of products plus a £45 busines supplies kit.  But there the best bit YOU get to chose what products you want up to the value of £130!!!  That’s right you can have anything you want from a traditional mix of stamps and inks to a Big Shot and dies.

Have Your Kit Your Way!

AND if that wasn’t enough excitement for one month, here is something that will blow you away.  If you sign up in the month of May you will get a Free Convention place at this years convention worth £149!

At Convention 2012, you’ll experience unforgettable stamping demonstrations, receive practical business advice, and exchange inspiring ideas with fellow demonstrators at the award-winning Rheingoldhalle Congress Centrum Mainz in Germany, located on the Rhine River in the historic city of Mainz.

So join Stampin’ Up! today, and we’ll see you in Mainz, Germany on 2-3 November 2012!

Where from you say?? I’m back from the Tartan Stampers Mini Convention.  It was 3 fun filled days of crafting, chatting and eating cakes with lots of the other Stampin’ Up! demo’s in Scotland and some from further afield.  We all did shoe box swaps for each other (where we make a card/3D item and then give everyone a kit to make their own) and some amazing classes too.

So I have load of pics to show you of what I made there but before I do, guess what we are doing at this weeks class?  We are looking at  Embossing techniques, from getting that perfect embossed image to resist embossing and faux metal from embossing.  The class is on Saturday 28th April from 10-12 at the Pollockshaws Burgh Hall, Glasgow and is £10 with all materials included.  You can book a space by visiting the Glasgow Cardmaking Meetup or contact me at or on 07535666211.  To avoid placing being taking by those who do not turn up payment must be made in advance unless other wise agreed.

Ok so here’s the pics if you put the mouse curser over thhe pics you should see everyone’s names, there are a few more but that all my laptop can take right now…

Stamping Technique Classes

Saturday 31st March 2012, 10am-12noon, Pollockshaws Burgh Hall

We are starting back with our Stamping Technique classes, through the weeks we will explore what else we can do with our stamps.   This week we will cover some of the basics on how to get that perfect image every time!

All classes are suitable for beginners and experienced crafters alike.  All materials are provided and the class costs £10 per person.

Please note payment should be received in advance unless otherwise agreed.  Payments can be made by paypal or check.  For any other payment methods please e-mail me.

Well this week I have a lovely wee gift idea that you can fill with anything, sweets, soap, even Jewellery! I made it using Wisteria Wonder and Pool Party card which are two of the new incolour’s this year and already I am loving them! These insidently you can get for free if you sign up for the demo starter kit in the month of October you get a free incolour kit (with 5 ink pads and a pack with 20 sheets of incolour card) on top of all your other goodies!

So back to the project… I also used Whisper White Ink and using Delicate Doilies as a snowflake, stamped a back ground, I also stamped one snowflake and embossed with Silver embosing powder and layered this up with a wee diamontie as you always need a bit of bling.

As always you can get the free tutorial for this project, just leave me a comment and I will e-mail you the tutorial and remember you can change the design to suit any occasion.
